Owner, Tattoo Artist, Piercer
Jessie grew up in NE China, so she is definitely not afraid of the snow here in Wisconsin! She moved to the United States in 2008, and has been a tattoo shop owner since 2013. Her family is full of artists, one of which is her father who is a watercolor painter. Jessie enjoys yoga, rock climbing, kayaking, all sorts of food, and of course her three adorable cats. She also still eats spaghetti with chopsticks. It's very important to Jessie that her customers have a comfortable and exciting experience at Impulse Ink tattoo, and that their tattoos are just as unique as they are.
Hey there! My name is Mercedes and I am a tattoo artist at Impulse Ink (if you couldn’t tell by the bio on the website you are currently looking at). I am originally from Hudson WI and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, concentration in Art Therapy from UW- Eau Claire. I enjoy all kinds of art and have drawn since I could remember! When I am not tattooing or working on designs I am probably downing coffee and watching youtube videos, hanging out with my friends and family, or searching out new music. I thoroughly enjoy tattooing watercolor, flowers, skulls, and nature scenes!

Lauren is the newest member of Impulse Ink Tattoo! She grew up in the Twin Cities, surrounded by a family of artists. Drawing has always been a passion of her's, as well as some good ol' acrylic painting. Tattoos peaked her interest at age five when Lauren decided she wanted to, "look super cool", just like her tattooed aunt and uncle. Much of her artistic inspiration is pulled from horror films, vintage pin-ups, and an immense love of the natural world. Lauren cannot wait to begin her tattooing career!
Impulse Ink’s new piercer, Haylee, AKA The Blue Hair Girl, comes from small town Osceola where she developed a passion for body art and self-expression of all types. Haylee received her first piercing before she can remember, and has added to them ever since (15 now!). After graduating, Haylee moved to the New Richmond area, and went on to work in the medical manufacturing industry where she learned the utmost importance for sterility and attention to detail. She is now using those skills, as well as newfound knowledge, to assist customers in redecorating their forever homes!
